happy independence day!

Happy Independence day people!!!

I spent all day at Hudson's lacrosse tournament and now I'm super sunburnt! :) The Holms came for one of the games and we got to hang out and catch up on life - lots of fun. :) So I hope everybody has a great day today! I'm gonna go crash now, lol.

Harry Potter, the 4th of July, and other randomness...

weelll it's been a while.... My Grandma and her friend Jim are in town for the week! So we are just gonna hang out and find somewhere to watch fireworks tomorrow. We might go to this party at the Blackburns... idk.

So. Lately I've been getting into Harry Potter!

We have watched the first 2 movies as a family and The 6th movie comes out on July 15th i think so I'm really looking forward to that. I might go to the Herlihy's and watch the 3rd one on Monday. yay! :) I never really was interested in watching them or reading the books before cause of all the witchcraft & magic and stuff but I decided to give the movies a try and I like them a lot! :)

Yesterday was our last open gym for volleyball... no more v-ball until August! :( It's kinda wierd cause Jessi is probably gonna be on Varsity and I'm gonna be on JV. Not because I'm not as good as Jess or anything but my coach says I need to grow in leadership and confidence. I seriously am kinda glad I'm not going to be on Varsity though. :)

So thats it... I'll probably post tomorrow cause tomorrow is The 4th Of July. :D

So today I'm gonna go turn in my applications at the Great Wolf Lodge and Texas Land & Cattle (which are like the only places that will hire 15 year olds, lol) so please be praying! Since I'm going to be getting my license and a car soon I really need a job to pay for insurance and stuff. Plus having a little extra money to spend would be nice. ;)

Sonfest-June2009

The Holms and us went to Carowinds Saturday! We went to the waterpark and rode some rides and at 2:00 the concert started. :D

Remedy Drive was my fave! Nobody was standing up while they were performing and we were like "we should stand!" So we did and the David - the singer - looked at us and said "thank you" to us! It was very cool. :) We met them afterwards and there was like 5 other people in line with us to meet them so they talked with us for a while and we got to take a picture!

The guest speaker, Matt Pitt, was AMAZING. He was hilarious and he had such a powerful testimony. O_O incredible.

Okay... update...

Sunday we went to the Elliotts for dinner and just to hang out since we couldn't have care group because no one was abe to come so that was fun... we played games and everybody went swimming except for me and Emily and Olivia. :)

And nothing extremely important happened for the rest of the week.

Oh except yesterday I went to the mall to look for a dress to wear to the youth banquet and i found one. :) happy day!

Tonight is the quest222 youth banquet! I think it's gonna be really fun!

Annnnd tomorrow we are going to carowinds with the Holms to see a concert with HAWK NELSON, BRANDON HEATH, TOBYMAC, FIREFLIGHT, AND REMEDY DRIVE!!! it's gonna be great!!! :D

Today was really rainy and dreary - the perfect day to go to the mall and shop and see a movie! :) So I saw Star Trek and it was really good except for one unnecessary scene... I hadn't seen any of the old tv shows or anything but the new one was easy to understand. :) So I enjoyed it. :)

life

Chad graduated on Saturday and we had a party for him at church on Sunday. We just ate food and played frisbee and volleyball so it was cool. Then I went to Melly's party right after and we kind of did the same thing - volleyball, eating and some people did frisbee. So I am wiped out and I don't want to be awake right now - I want to be asleep in my cozy bed but we have a volleyball scrimmage thing and our coach is taking us there soon so I had to get up.

I had a lovely dream last night.

I dreamed that my shirt that I ordered last week came in the mail.

Today is June 1st!!! wO0t!

Aaaand I got home from the homeschool convention today! :) It was seriously awesome. I was really inspired by this guy John Stonestreet - he's from Summit ministries and he was a great speaker. One of the topics was what God wants for your life and I really enjoyed that.

So that was really fun - I had a great time with Emily!! :) They let me stay in thier hotel and stuff and we talked for a long time at night so it was really fun... i keep saying that but it was really fun so whatever... :P

Aaaaand they had this swing dance for the teens!!!!! And it was amazing!!! It made me want to take lessons or something so I can get better at it though. And they had a game night and Emily and me got to meet some... nice people :P Some of the girls were a little crazy haha but we had fun. :)
